Any students going into grade 11 and 12 and wanting to join Rec Leadership next year, now is your time to apply!!! Application forms are now available for you to fill out and drop off outside of the counsellors office to tell us why you want to become a rec leader and what makes you stand out !As a Rec Leader you will be able to plan spirit weeks, host pep rallies and sports tournaments, plan school wide events and so much more!! We also do lots of fun field trips and activities throughout the year and usually end with a three day trip at reo rafting!! This class is a great opportunity to make lots of great memories, meet new people and make your final years at mountain as fun and memorable as possible!! Don’t miss out!!! SPIRIT WEEK THEMES HAVE BEEN DECIDED!! Next week starting October 26-October 30 is this schools years first spirit week!! Starting off with monochrome Monday, wear as much as one colour as you can! Next is twin Tuesday, find a friend to dress up identical to! Then on Wednesday don’t bother changing, come to school in your pyjamas or your favourite lounge wear! On Thursday show off your favourite sports team by wearing a jersey! Finally on Friday dress up in your best Halloween costume !! 💙🦅

Hey eagles, welcome back to a brand new year at REMSS! It’s great to see students finally return and we welcome our new grade nines! This year may look different but it’s important to still stay involved and find something you’re passionate about, whether it’s sports, music, art, academics, drama or any other activities or clubs ( information about athletics and other clubs coming soon!). This year will be as great or memorable as you make it and the best way to do that is to get involved! during quarantine, your rec leaders has been planning different things we can still do remotely from home. this week, we will be showcasing some of the things we’ve been doing to stay busy, as well as connecting with our community! first off, we’re hosting a SCHOOL-WIDE netflix party!
