Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and provincial restrictions on gatherings, we are unable to host our Pre-IB and IB Information evening for interested parents and students. In order to accommodate this evolving situation, we have made a video outlining the Pre-IB and IB programs at REMSS. Anyone interested in the Pre-IB or IB programs is invited to watch the information video and refer to the FAQ about IB handout posted to this page. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to email the IB Coordinator, Tina Costopoulos, at email@example.com.
Applications for Pre-IB and IB programs at REMSS will be open from Tuesday, January 5th to Monday, January 25th, 2021.
FAQ about IB
REMSS Pre-IB Program
The REMSS Pre-IB Program, in Grades 9 and 10, is an academic program that is designed to prepare students for the challenges of the IB Diploma Programme. While the curriculum for Pre-IB 9 and 10 is the same as the BC Ministry curriculum, there is an additional focus on subject knowledge and skills required for success in the IB. It is highly advised that students who would like to pursue the IB Diploma in Grade 11 apply for the Pre-IB program.
